Raidho TD4.2 Floor Standing Loudspeaker
The TD4.2 is the first in the TD line with a true MTM configuration. This makes for an enormous holographic sound stage, but this configuration also makes the loudspeaker easier to integrate into the room acoustics as the dispersion is controlled.
The sound is authentic and live, delivering powerful music experiences.
This symmetrically build extends all the way to the bass. TD drive units makes the speaker ingulf you in a holographic landscape of sound.
With multiple bass driver it may produce the same volume and go as deep as much bigger woofers, just with much better impulse response resulting in a very dynamic and articulate sound. This also makes it possible to keep the front plate slim, thereby reducing diffraction. This adds to a wide and precise sound stage.
The sound is authentic and live, and TD4.2 will deliver musical experiences from the smallest, intimate performances and to the biggest bands, with impact, dynamics, and musical scale in the most convincing of ways.
Engineered with audiophile-grade components — premium drivers, hand-matched crossovers, and a hardwood enclosure tuned for natural decay. Every cabinet is internally braced and damped to suppress resonance below the threshold of audibility.
- Custom 6.5" mid-bass driver with paper-pulp cone for transient accuracy.
- Soft-dome silk tweeter with neodymium motor for airy, fatigue-free highs.
- Point-to-point hand-wired crossover using silver-foil capacitors.
- Bi-wirable terminals plated in pure copper.
Place each speaker on its dedicated stand, toed-in toward the listening position. The hardwood enclosure resonates in concert with the drivers — a deliberate, musical interaction rather than a flaw to be eliminated.
Connect to a quality amplifier using bi-wired speaker cable for the most transparent presentation. Allow 50–100 hours of break-in for the drivers and crossover capacitors to settle into their final voicing.
