Handcrafted Premium Finish
With the Acapella Hyperion we have created an exceptional transducer, capable of moving the standards in music reproduction. A musical titan, that rightly bears its name.
Whether the delicate tone of a flute, the unleashed force of a large orchestra, or the immediate dynamics of a drum kit, the Hyperion sees itself as a mediator of the highest competence.
Eight 15 inch drivers, exclusively manufactured for the Hyperion, are housed in elaborate, perfectly crafted cabinets for deep black bass and a tremendous lower cut-off frequency of 16 Hertz.
The seamlessly following midrange takes over a specially developed for this system 780 hyper-spherical horn unit. Thanks to particularly effective damping of rear sound components, the 2.5 inch dome used here works completely free of discolourations. The result is an unprecedented natural midrange reproduction.
The high range is once again provided by our well-proven TW 1-S ion tweeter. Its wide frequency range gives the Hyperion a frequency response of more than 11 octaves.
In the Hyperion, these characteristics combine to create a breathtaking cosmos of musical reproduction, with only one standard of comparison: Live music.Technical Data

Engineered with audiophile-grade components — premium drivers, hand-matched crossovers, and a hardwood enclosure tuned for natural decay. Every cabinet is internally braced and damped to suppress resonance below the threshold of audibility.
- Custom 6.5" mid-bass driver with paper-pulp cone for transient accuracy.
- Soft-dome silk tweeter with neodymium motor for airy, fatigue-free highs.
- Point-to-point hand-wired crossover using silver-foil capacitors.
- Bi-wirable terminals plated in pure copper.
Place each speaker on its dedicated stand, toed-in toward the listening position. The hardwood enclosure resonates in concert with the drivers — a deliberate, musical interaction rather than a flaw to be eliminated.
Connect to a quality amplifier using bi-wired speaker cable for the most transparent presentation. Allow 50–100 hours of break-in for the drivers and crossover capacitors to settle into their final voicing.
