The acoustic segments slide into the patented Silentmax easy-fix profile in one piece. The grooves in the profile centre the individual acoustic segments.

Installation

Construction Kit

Silentmax 3D is quick and straightforward for self-assembly, helping to save on packaging and shipping costs.

 

For the 400 x 244 panel for example, the kit includes 64 segments of Silentmax® acoustic panels and four 200cm-long Silentmax Easy-fix anchoring system profiles. The total effective, acoustically absorbing area amounts to 24 m².

 

Mounting

  • By screwing into the wall.
  • By screwing into the ceiling.
  • Measure the positioning of the Silentmax Easy-fix profiles so that there's a 60 cm gap from the edge of the segments. Consequently, the central gap will be 104 cm.
  • Level the profiles using a spirit level and mark the drill holes. Each profile contains five mounting holes. Secure the profiles to the wall or ceiling using wall plugs and screws.
  • On a clean surface, arrange the acoustic segments so their patterns seamlessly align. Begin from one end, installing each segment sequentially. Gently press the segment into the profile's grooves. These grooves feature reverse serrations to perfectly secure each acoustic segment.
